It's great that the Dolphins are financially flexible and have cap space to spare. Hopefully they can get the maximum value out of it.

Even though im sensing a hint of sarcasm...but I may be wrong.
More to the point I happen to really like Jeff Ireland. We will have the players that are capable of taking us to the promise land. Coaching and execution will determine our overall success.
I agree. Ireland hasn/t done that bad...he got us brandon marshall, reggie bush. have to give him a little credit even tho parcells was running it but jake long.
He has yet to take a QB though...I want to see if he has the balls to go for peyton,rg3, or flynn. He he settles for Moore or drafts some no-name im going to lose all faith in him though...we have to address QB!
I am happy that we have some money to spend. You have to agree that the cap is being managed wisely.
I think we get one big free agent signing, maybe Matt Flynn, and a couple of bargains then re-sign Paul Solai and Cam Wake.
I just hope we dont get our ROL via free agency. It rarely works. alot of money on guys who eat alot. seen bills and redskins do this and even us, never seems to work. Some deep Tackle talent in this draft IMO.

AIR JORDAN
If we secure Peyton or Flynn before the draft, the smart thing to do would be to use the 1st pick on a RT/RG. As much as it may frustrate certain fans, its purely the best football decision. It all starts on the line of scrimmage. It wouldn't be a bad move, and the drafting of a offensive lineman in that 1st round would give us the opportunity to focus on D for the majority of the draft.

Sign Stevie Johnson or meachem , Cliff Avril,Reggie Nelson, forget getting a QB its not happening this year. we can trade down in round 1 and with our first three picks Go 1.WR- Michael Floyd or OL Johnathon martin then 2 a. TE- fleener or Allen and 2.b QB or OL- foles or weeden
It's never the best plan to reach for a player simply because it's a position of need, outside of the most important position in football (Tannehill comes to mind). The only lineman worth even discussing at that pick is DeCastro. Further, our pass rush is just as much of a need, if not more.

A RG and/or RT can be found later in the draft and/or through FA. It doesn't take much to replace Colombo, just a little homework on the players available, which may be too much to ask of Ireland.
