nobody gave you any feedback because there is less than 1/4 of 1 % chance that he doesnt' stay in NO... they want to keep him, he wants to stay... theres really nothing to add. nothing to even speculate about.

Yeah, there IS. Namely, "part B" (if you will) They pay BREES a King's ransom to defeat MIAMI, and have not enough left to defeat MIAMI as to NICKS even if they wanted to. I think that's the OP's point, and it would be a "win-win" for us.

Now before I get bashed too hard for this idea, Bress is a free agent and he isn't happy that his contract negotiations are going so slow, especially after a record setting season. So even if the Saints franchise tag him, I would gladly give that first round pick for one of the top 5 QB's if not top 3 quarterback in the league. And for the people saying he would never leave New Orleans, I'm sure every NFL player is watching how the Colts are treating one of the greatest players in the game. Now more than ever is it apparent that loyalty doesn't pay bills. Throw a ridiculous offer that he can't refuse and see if the Saints pony up to match it if not then sacrifice the pick. If they do match give them less cap space to re-sign Carl Nicks which could be an option at guard. Let the bashing commence!
