JT was the far better player, you will see in a few years when he is the hall of fame.
That wasn't the question, the question was who we'd miss more.

JT most likely was more talented than Zach but - for me - Zach epitomised everything that the fans wanted to see from their players and was the heart and soul of the defense. Whilst JT was the better athlete and more productive, I'll always remember Zach as a great, gutsy player and a great man. I'll remember JT for as many headlines as I will sacks, no matter how talented.

Basically JT in his prime, was an awesome talent, and was unstoppable to the point you needed to have two guys block him. Zach in his prime was all over the field, and hit like Rhino going 40mph. Both were relentless in practice as well as in games. Both continually restructured thier contract, to help the team rather then seeking to go to another team. Three things made one of them better then the other though.

    1. While Jason made some of the players on the D-line better with getting blocked but multi-players, Zach Made the entire defense better, with being able to see what was going on , and position everyone in the right position to succeed...especially himself.

    2. In practice Jason was not a good teacher, but Zach helped quite a few LBers play better then they normally would have, if not for learning from Zach...including Crowder.

    3. Each at the end of their careers were asked to join a Dolphin rival team. JT joined a Jets team, he always said he hated more then any team in football. Zach told everyone, that in his many years as a Dolphin, he learned to hate the Patriots, there was never a chance in he** that he would ever join the Patriots. Integrity over possible championship....that's what makes great players legendary.

let's just we were lucky enough to have had both of them. Two of the biggest steals this team has ever gotten in the draft.

I miss Zach a lot as he was always about the team and he gave it his all even when playing with injuries. The player I miss the most is Dan Marino, especially after all the crappy QB's we have had since him, but there will never be another Dan Marino. Hopefully Zach will get to the Hall some day. I think JT will get in with all his sacks.
