Trade for Blackmon?

Justin Blackmon isn't top 5 pick material....... He is hardly an Elite prospect. Would have been drafted behind Green and Jones last year, no doubt. Will be a reliable #1 target in the Bigs, but above average at Best. He's no Dez Bryant, i'll say that. Classy character is part of the appeal. We just can't pay a premium for him when RARE talent is available in more pressing areas.

I think you'll see him taken later than expected. Then there'll be a run on Wrs, involving the other 3, in the 15-25 area.
It would be crazy to trade up for Blackmon when you could trade down and get Jeffrey,Floyd, or Wright and also perhaps a shot @ Fleener/Weeden/Foles etc.

Players I'd give other high picks to trade up for:
(the Qb's are obvious)
Claiborne
Richardson ( maybe to move up a few picks )

If Blackmon falls to us, then take him. I am against trading up for anyone. We can take Wright at 8/9 if we need a WR so badly.
We need to take the BPA at 8/9 or trade down into the teens and get an extra pick in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I am hoping that Trent Richardson is there at 8/9. The guy is an absolute beast. Power(Richardson) and elusiveness(Bush). Alternate him with Bush and we will have a dominant rushing attack for years to come. Sign Flynn. Get a FA OG and draft Fleener in the 2nd.
Anything after that is gravy IMHO.

I have a feeling he will be taken somewhere between 3rd-5th....if it only cost us a couple picks like a 3rd and 5th rounder, then HELL YEAH, I would make the move. Blackmon looks like Calvin Johnson, and we would be sick if we had our own version of Megatron, along with Marshall.

It wouldn't surprise me if he actually went 2nd to the Rams to be honest. He would be a PERFECT fit for Bradford. We will have to see.

Sorry, I think you have it dead backwards.

I would trade up a spot, maybe two for Blackmon.
I don't think Richardson is worthy of a top 10 pick. I just don't see it.
