I've Figgured Out The Problem With Southland

    The characters are really unlikeable.

Even when you are asked to come along, complicitly, into "The Shield"...You love Vince Macky...Even though he shot a cop.

I wouldn't think enough of most of the jerkoffs in Southland to toss coffee in thier face.

    #2...Wow. ********ers

I would disagree that there's any problem with this outstanding show. The cops it depicts realistically have their flaws, some of them are in fact unlikeable but others, despite some venal tendencies really end up doing the right thing for the right reasons. Welcome to real life and to most big city police departments.

Specifically, the young rich cop and Regina King (the black detective) IMO are both quite likeable because their ready defaults are honorable.

I dunno Vaark. I'm not saying cops aren't realisticly portrayed...But most of them seem like *******s. The only character I really like so far is the blonde guy (The bad back seems to have gone away)
