It must be hard to "know" something when the guy (Peyton) doesn't even know where he is going.

Nice one Mike. Junc you fell right into that one and I happen to agree Brady is the best QB but a debate can be made for Manning. He had a lot less of a supporting cast.

Guess you just missed the part where Greenberg went on a verbal beatdown crusade against his Jets.

This idea that Greenberg is some on-air Miami ***** and sets out to crush the Dolphins day in and day out is so far from the truth it's laughable.
He's much more objective than 99.9% of Dolphin fans on FinHeaven.

I disagree, manning had much more offensive talent and the D's were comparable in postseason. Add in more than half of Manning's games came in domes and he has had a big edge.

Manning IMO is far better than Brady I don't think it's even close either. Manning has been the better player his whole life at every level, no question IMO.
Brady has been benifit of some special videos

. Brady also gets bloated stats because of the spread they run up in NE. Just like the bloated stats you see from QB's comming out of some of the spread schools in college. I don't think Brady could even run a pro style offense like Manning he dosen't have the arm for the deep outs and dig routes. Brady operates in the flat and the middle of the field short to deep.
Brady is top notch and a great QB no doubt but Manning is like having your offensive coordinator on the field for every snap.

Born to fight. Trained to kill. Ready to die, but never will.

To the contrary, having a national, not a local podium, what he says to maintain some semblance of credibility vs what he thinks are not necessarily in lockstep. Factoring in their OL, running game, cancerous clubhouse, the dysfunctional prime receiver, a clueless new pound and ground OC, the bravado and unfulfilled false promises, for the metrosexual to suggest it would be a good landing spot for someone in as much control and as classy as Peyton would defy any logic and be transparently homeristic.

I saw that segment also (as I flip between them and CNBC frequently) and my impression was he had a gut reaction based on the fear that Peyton would end up with the H8'd Fins. The show's is popular with some league following so from his jaundiced perspective he laid out some lame reasons why Peyton shouldn't, and in fact suggested AZ and Seattle, as far away from the AFCE as possible, hoping that this will resonate with people who influence Peyton. To think he didn't have an agenda my friend is trollishly naive.

bloated stats? they both throw much more than they handoff but only one of them plays more than half their games in domes while the other plays most of hios games outdoors in the NE.
Who cares if peyton is like an OC? it's about winning and NE wins more w/ Brayd and b/c of Brady. manning has held back Indy in postseason and as mediocre as Brady has been in postseason recently he hasn't been the primary problem in their playoff losses like Peyton was in Indy.

except when it comes to Brady's kryptonite, Eli Manning

Here is the flaw to your argument - This is a team sport do you think if they were swapped Brady to the Colts and Manning to the Pats that the Colts would have won more games than they did with Manning? Those NE teams were better all around teams and better coached. Take away the Championships the Cheatriots won during video gate and they haven't won any championships at all.

You can't pin losses just on Manning, manning carried those teams. The only game that really sticks out to me that looked like a "QB loss" would be the Eagles loss to the Cheatriots in the championship and that was a close one and McNabb played like total crap.

I'm not saying the Greenberg was "accurate" in where he thinks the best fit for Peyton is but he did have a valid point in which Peyton would; and should, consider.

Does he believe in Joe Philbin.
But using the same argument, what has Pete Carroll or Ken Wishenhunt shown that would lead you to believe that they are capable of getting to the big game.
I think personnel wise on this field we're in a better position to go deeper with Peyton Manning. And it doesn't matter who the coach is, Peyton will get under center and do what he does which is make correct presnap reads and flip plays at the line. So it doesn't matter who your coach is or who your offensive coordinator is when you have Peyton Manning orchestrating your offense.
It really falls on your defense and I think Greenberg missed on that.
