If the Rams can't get what they want in a trade down then I think they will take Griffin and try to deal Bradford

It might not be the fast turnaround they hoped for but rg3 is by far the best value at #2 and Fisher will play the long game. He has no tie to Bradford

I think they turned off a lot of teams by asking for a 1st overall type of package for the pick. The fact remains Griffen isn't the top pick in the draft and isn't going to bring a 1st overall pick package. These teams are not run by idiots. They know supply and demand is fairly balanced this off-season and teams will offer a fair package - just not an out of the stratosphere kind of package.

If they want Griffin they will have to trade up Griffin will be a hot commodity everyone is trying to bluff now
to me, the question is how far do the Rams want to slide? and can a team lower than #8 come up with a package good enough to still get high quality players?
imo, Cleveland is realistically competing with Washington and maybe Miami for the pick and they should wait to see how free agency plays out. if the Redskins and Dolphins get Manning and Flynn, the Rams lose their leverage

With all the holes they have, lol. Highly doubtful, no one is going to eat that 6 year, $72 million contract Bradford got.

We dodged a big bullet. Another sign that the curse has lifted.

    Let's hope so.

Griffins is best player available at #2 by far. If nobody wants Bradford for the money then what makes you think Fisher does ? (apart from the meaningless public declarations). As I said Fisher has no ties to Bradford and the money the Rams paid him already is gone - you can't get that back. If Bradford isn't elite then passing on rg3 is just compounding the error

I've said before that I think people here are overvaluing RG3 to pretty ridiculous extent.

What type of success do you envision RG3 having a rookie? Just curious.

If the price sinks low enough, I wouldn't discount the jest making a run at it with a deal that includes Revis and Sanchez as a backup for fragile Bradford.
No way would they give up Revis. Nobody is that dull.

Not the same poster who made the comment about RG 3 being the best player available at #2 but to answer your question about what type of success do I see RG 3 having as a rookie, would be the same success Cam Newton had as a rookie, if not better then Newton.
