The Florida State v. Cincinnati game has actually been pretty good.

    Last game of the weekend...

I hate Florida State...but I think they got robbed.

Cincinnati's coach ran on to the court during a play and pulled a player into position lol.

    Amateur hour.

It sucks possibly seeing a season go down b/c of a dirty play. The Heels were looking like they would be playing for another title but now it looks reaaly difficult especially w/ McDonald and Strickland already out. Hoping for a miracle where he can play and be close to himself but we'll see.

Some food for thought during this break in the tourney action:

Rick Pitino is 9-0 in Sweet 16 games. Average margin of victory: 22 points
U of L vs Michigan State is the primetime game on Thursday. It is going to be a good one.

Of the 16 teams left, 7 are from the states of KY, IN, and OH. It would have been 8 of the 16 if Purdue hadn't puked all over itself at the end of their game against Kansas. Sorry ACC fans, the center of the basketball universe is NOT tobacco road. It's the tristate area of the mid-east.

Of the 16 left, 4 are from the Big East and 4 are from the Big 10. Georgetown and USF almost made it 6 Big East teams, but I don't think JT3 is a big time coach so I'm not surprised Gtown lost and USF, well, they're USF. Still, a second round loss isn't bad for one of the last teams in the tournament.

Here's the games left and their start times:

    Thursday, March 22
    7:15 - 4 Wisconsin vs 1 Syracuse (EAST)
    7:47 - 4 Louisville vs 1 Michigan St. (WEST)
    9:45 - 6 Cincinnati vs 2 Ohio St. (EAST)
    10:17 - 7 Florida vs 3 Marquette (WEST)

    Friday, March 23
    7:15 - 10 Xavier vs 3 Baylor (SOUTH)
    7:47 - 13 Ohio vs 1 North Carolina (MIDWEST)
    9:45 - 4 Indiana vs 1 Kentucky (SOUTH)
    10:17 - 11 NC State vs 2 Kansas (MIDWEST)

KY, IN and OH have produced ZERO Championship teams since 2001. Tobacco Road? 4

Again, it's ALWAYS the same 2 teams. Everytime. Call me when someone besides Duke or UNC do anything. Anything at all.

There are FOUR teams on Tobacco Road, you mentioned teams from 3 different STATES and still Tobacco Road comes out on top. Can we open it to Maryland and other nearby States to make it a fair comparison?

Dude, that tri state area Lou is talking about is so superior to tobacco road. Indiana is the center or the basketball universe, not carolina.

And the Big 10 and Big East are so superior to the ACC its ridiculous. In fact, I have the ACC as 5th best conference with the A-10 and colonial leagues just behind them.

Historically the ACC is superior to the B10 and BE and it's not close but right now I'd agree the B10 is much better and the BE is slightly better.

That tri state are Lou is talking about hasn't seen a Nat'l Title since 1998 and a FF since 2005. Since 2005 Carolina alone has 3 FFs and 2 Nat'l Titles.
