    way to grasp for straws.

Wes was not the WR he is now with us. Fact is we had to trade Wes because of the poison pill contract New England offered him. Now had Cam and Mueller not wasted the picks we got on him things would be a little different.

No problem bringing in Green, but remember, he was in the twilight of his career already battling concussion issues. Flynn is not battling injuries nor is he in his late 30's.

We can also point out how Philbin has come in with a plan and was given full control of what he wants in his coaching staff. Cam Cameron was told he couldn't get rid of Mike Mularkey (just demoted him), and he had to keep Dom Capers (and Capers was forced to run Nick Saban's offense). Let's see how Philbin wants to build the team shall we? In hindsite, it was obvious Cam was doomed. Horrible conditioning program, very light camps, horrible draft, didn't use preseason to instill his offense.

So if they trade Jake Long for a conditional sixth which would free up a bunch of cap space and Dansby for a 7th which would free up even more I should just be happy as a Dolphin fan drop another few thousand on merchandise, tickets, etc. and enjoy the ride.

Bad business is bad business I don't give a damn who does it.

And to think Philbin didn't have his hands in that trade is just crazy. No way the GM trades the best player on the team without talking to the coach.

Not even close to the same situation. The results could end up the same, we have to wait, but don't compare the 2.

Why would they trade Jake and Dansby for a 6th and a 7th? Marshall did give us 2 third rounders . . . hardly to be compared to 1 6th and 1 7th.

Marshall is a great talent with alot of issues and he was a lockerroom cancer that we dealt with to save face for the 2 2nd round picks we gave up for him. Sucks, but he is replaceable. He had more memorable endzone drops last year than memorable big plays.
