Haha Slimm, giving the credit to G.J. Kinne I see.

We've talked about him quite a bit and you know I am high on him as a quarterback for the style of offense Miami is expected to run. Great video to give him a display.

    Late round developmental only?

Good question. I like him a little better than that, somewhere in the late-4th round range... but if a team were to get him later than that due to him being on the board that long I think they got themselves a pretty decent steal at the QB position.

Right off the bat, Lindley has what you're looking for in his profile. Prototype size, 4 year starter in a pro-style offense, big strong arm, and experience in a knock-off West Coast system under Al Borges. He has one of the 3 best arms in this draft, if not the best.

Has good pocket presence and tougness. Decent feel for the pass rush and more mobile in the pocket than people think. Needs very little to no work on his delivery from the waist up. I wouldn't touch it. Understands situational football, adept and efficient running the 2-minute offense. The 2-minute offense he ran at the end of his bowl game against UL-Lafayette to lead them to the go ahead touchdown in a whale of a football game was one of the best I witnessed all season in college football.

The issues I see with Lindley are that he's a very, very streaky passer. His accuracy can go completely in the ditch because of sloppy footwork and tendency to overstride in his setup, and it happened often. He has to focus more on his fundamentals from the ground up to improve his accuracy. You have to have it in the NFL. However, when his footwork is sharp, he can be unstoppable because he can make any throw, anywhere, anytime to anybody due to having such a tremendous arm. Will also force some ill advised throws into double coverage, which most quarterbacks with physically gifted arms will do from time to time.

Overall, I think Lindley is one of the lowest risk/high reward prospects in this draft, particularly at the quarterback position.

What happened to make Michael Brewster fall down so far? Wasn't he being projected to go in the first round at one point?

I don't know if he was ever projected as a 1st rounder but he was always one of the top 2 or 3 Senior centers in this draft. Konz was always the guy that was going to be the #1 center if he declared early.

Brewster's a good player with exceptional toughness and competitiveness. He's one of the most experienced offensive lineman in this draft and is adept at making all the line calls. However, he just doesn't test well athletically.

He's still a top 125 player in this draft and I'd be suprised if he lasted past the middle of the 4th round or so.

No one is talking about Sanu, but I think he'd be a good fit for our offense and likely available in the 2nd - maybe the 3rd?

His pro-day really helped his cause from what Ive read. His 40 went down significantly, could have been a fast track though Im not sure
