2004 General Manager League

It's that time again. Time for the Finheaven General Manager League 2.0. For those of you who aren't familiar with the League...we basically have 32 owners and put them in the position of a GM for a few months. You can trade players, cut players, tender your RFAs, use your Franchise/Transition Tags, and you keep up with your salary cap. At some point we will have a free agency period in which everyone bids on the available free agents. Then in April we will have our draft. We try to complete that before the actual NFL draft.

We have nearly half of the league filled, mostly with people who played last year. There are still alot of openings if anyone is interested. The 2004 Board is now available for viewing, you can also look at the 2003 Board to see how things work. Anyone who is interested can post here.

Cool. One thing i must stress is the big problem we had last year....about half of the league either quit at some point, or people just didn't do much....became very inactive. If you spend a good deal of time online and don't mind talking trades and stuff like that. There shouldn't be a problem. If you are still interested....what team would you be interested in? If you look at the board you can see who has been taken.

if your looking for someone that is active online and wont bail on your half way to through the off season, CK is your man

it sounds fun really, and id love to try, but i dont think id be too great at is as im very slow with the cap situation

ill just sit back and watch. so whats the website anyways?

Can you tell me what teams remain? You said look at the board but I didn't see anything.

One thing that I didn't like last year and the main reason that I quit was the fact that ridiculous trades were made right and left......The realism was not what I was expecting....Although I understand that it may be a little boring to do it "real life", I am wondering if any thought went into that aspect of the league??

It's never been a problem. The league on the saints board has been going on for over 5 years. They had a waiting list to get in the league last year.
