Sometimes, there's just no explaining life.

When Robert Nelson was a true freshman football player at Louisiana-Monroe in 2009, the Warhawks played at Arizona State, which needed a late replacement for a game originally scheduled against BYU.

ASU won 38-14, with Nelson going unnoticed on special teams. But rather than that being the end of the story, it was only the beginning.
