They traded their souls to get RG3 and then draft a 2nd teir QB? I just dont understand. Maybe they plan on hanging on to him just to shop him later, but WOW, talk about undermining the confidence of your new first round pick.

Facts: John Beck sucks. Rex Grossman sucks. Robert Griffin III has some injury concerns due to history and his style of play. Conclusion: they need a backup QB.

I don't understand people being offended by this move. Cousins is an ideal backup. You don't make the trade they made for RG3 unless they had some extreme confidence in him. Their QBs last year didn't even deserve roster spots. Few teams in history have been as desperate for an overall improvement at the QB position.
i think its a great move for them and didnt they do the same thing years ago with shuler and then frerotte?
