You want a guy on your team who :

    Ran a 5 second 40

put on 20 pounds of weight his senior year

Has been renown for starting problems

contributes personal fouls time an time again

A KID who just needs to stop smoking weed for a few months in order to become a millionaire/ professional athlete , and he can't do it.

I really wanted this when i saw him last year, But to be as unmotivated as he is already, whats giving him 600k going to do ?
    Sounds like the perfect UDFA.

With Burfict there is no reward...it's all risk.

I want him far away from our team. He will likely end up in Baltimore or New England if I had to guess.

I think in the 7th of as an UDFA the risk/reward is an excellent ratio. Jeff Ireland is all about value.

Nobody wants the kid described above. However, this point in the draft is where you can gamble. If Burfict changes his ways and matures, you've potentially landed a top 2 round talent in the 6th or 7th. If he doesn't change, you've essentially lost nothing and can cut him without much regret. 6th's and 7th's rarely stick around anyway and they don't cost much money.

I think as an UDFA the risk factor isn't really there. You have nothing to lose and a potential starter to gain.

I liked VB early on too. What a waste of talent. That said, I would sign him and give him a look.
The problem is that we could cut another guy in favor of him, and then they guy will get into trouble or smoke a mary jane and get suspended.
He will add unnecessary drama if he cannot get his shet together.
