    Rishard Mattews has some similarities to Hines Ward. Both have similar height/weight ratio and strong quad and calf muscles for good leg drive. Both have comparable workout stats(~4.45-4.5 and 34" verticals). Finally, they both are not afraid of contact and fight for extra yards. In multiple instances, Matthews violently shoves/pushes his defender(s) away for additional yards. Over a course of a football game, a yard or two here and there can affect the outcome - i.e Super Bowl 36 where Kevin Dyson was stopped short of game-tying score. As one star fades, here's to hoping Matthews has as productive a career as Hines Ward.
