Jarvis Jones, can play in our hyrbrid D and def can get after the passer. And will have 2 full years in a legit 3-4 defense so will be able to make a smooth transition.

The two positions I would shore up in free agency/draft would be wide reciever and safety. Right now there are no proven quality starters at those positions and if no one steps up this year they will need to be addressed in the offseason. Luckily there are some good prospects that should declare for the draft next year in USC's Robert Woods and Cal's Keenan Allen at WR in the first round and a solid group of safety prospects that should be available in the second round. If anything else, going BPA is never a bad decision in the draft. Need to take potential studs at any position if they fall in your lap though it works out the best if they also happen to fill a position of need.
we've got a much better shot of keenan allen getting to us in 2013 draft than we do robert woods if you ask me...
hoops scoops...prospects mia should target top 4 rounds 2013 draft...

Robert Woods isn't some end-all, be-all in my opinion. He's a nice player, good receiver, but Marqise Lee has always stood out to me from the very beginning of 2011 as being the better player. By the end of 2011, I'm pretty sure most scouts had Lee better than Woods.
So Woods could indeed fall to our pick, the question is do we really need to bend over backwards to get him. I know the position is a need, and I'm sure it will still be regarded as a need by the time we get there next year, but I don't know that it's such a need that they will be targeting the position (i.e. "whichever guy falls to us") in the first round.
Not saying Vaccaro is the best value, I just plugged in a pick that makes sense to me based on who is running the show and who is coaching the defense...but I think there's bound to be better value on the board than whichever top receiver falls to our pick. I think next year is going to be a little bit light in that receiver department anyway. Robert Woods, Keenan Allen and Marquess Wilson are the three juniors to keep an eye on but if they stay in school then the senior class is pretty mean. The best one is probably still playing quarterback at the moment.

I think most people put up Robert Woods' name thinking he'll be the top WR in the 2013 NFL Draft but I don't think he will be. I think that honor will belong to Marquess Wilson, if he comes out.
Good point. Also, our schedule this year will be similar to 2008 when the Dolphins drew the NFC West and a weak AFC West (this year the Dolphins face a potentially even weaker AFC South). I don't expect a record of 11-5 which was aided by Brady's injury, but 8-8 or 9-7 are realistic outcomes. So I think the Dolphins will most likely be selecting in the 15-20 range.

Strong possibility, which is why I put Amerson, Milliner and Byndom on the list.
