The claim of "liberal media" honestly died years ago when Fox News got ratings about 3 times the amount of other networks. Personally, i feel that when you "outnumber" the opposition 3 to 1 you can stop acting persecuted. But then again, thats the g-spot of conservatives, so i suppose i should just start screaming on their behalf and write a book called "Going Rogue"!

The actual news reporting on Fox has just as much of a liberal slant as every other network. The difference is that on Fox you have "conservative" commentators as opposed to the "liberal" ones on the other networks. This is all to keep up the partisan shell game in the era of the 24 hour news cycle.

The problem with Fox News is that everyone has what I call a "Fox News uncle". If you meet for a family gathering he always repeats what has been on the station for the last three days. They parrot exactly what they hear, and they never shut up about it. I have an older cousin who does it constantly, and his father used to do it all the time. Facts, logic, and compromise mean nothing to them. They tend to be white men who are afraid of losing their country, whatever that means.

I always get a kick out of when people accuse me here of being a partisan Democrat or a liberal or anything else, while my real friends accuse me of being hard-right and Republican. I had to delete a guy I have known since middle school from Facebook because his Obama worship was getting so exhausting. Rather than debate, people would rather put you in a box and end it.
