The '08 phins and '09 Jets both got breaks and took advantage, Miami got more but let's put that aside. Once in postseason one proved they belonged, the other got humiliated at home- a dolphin playoff tradition!
At least we have a tradition, one thing you keep forgetting is we are The Miami Dolphins and you are only the jets!

Your tradition is from the 70s and 80s, you know Pitt's tradition used to be losing. They changed that and your old winning tradition has been changed. When the average fan thinks of winning teams they don't think of Miami anymore.

In psychology, Stockholm Syndrome is an apparently paradoxical psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and have positive feelings towards their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. "[6]

Jets tradition is 1 legitimate post season where they actually earned it since '07, absolutely no conference championships EVER, nor any Superbowl appearances, let alone wins in the more competitive, non-talent diluted, minimum 3 game postseason. Very impressive, indeed.

Now the "superfan" thinks of that long winning tradition of the NY Jets

(unless you slapped on your coke lens-thick green colored lenses on her, your 2 year old watches jets games with more objectivity than do you!)

Among the many problems for the Jets’ offense last season was that quarterback Mark Sanchez completed just 54.3 percent of his passes, ranking 30th of 32 qualifying quarterbacks. But new Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg says that’s not necessarily that big a problem.

Asked in an interview on the Jets’ website if there’s a certain completion percentage benchmark that he’ll need his quarterback to reach, Mornhinweg answered, “No, absolutely not.”

Mornhinweg went on to say that he has seen quarterbacks have great seasons without great completion percentages.
