Maybe but he was led us back at Miami, put us in position to win at NE. There was nothing we could have done about the 2nd NE game where the D stunk, the 2nd Miami game, or a few of the other blowouts.
Project and deflect ..... it's always this one's fault or that one's fault but NEVER Sanchez' fault is it? This is the NFL, the league of quarterbacks. Even when things weren't so bad in previous times, the Jets were still noted as a team that started 'slow'. And back in the 'good days' Sanchez didn't win the Cleveland game. He kept the Browns in the game and Santonio Holmes took advantage of a blown tackle on a short curl pattern and took it to the house. Against Detriot, the Sanchez kept an inferior team in the game, a game a good qb wins going away. Against GB, Sanchez did crap, at home, against a Packer team that was riddled with injuries leading up to that game. Please ..... stop with the revisionist cherry-picking.

Fast foward to late 2012, the Jets go up against 2 of the absolute worst teams, Arizona (who has NO QB!) and Jacksonville and what did Mark Sanchez do? NOTHING. The human eggshell then follows that up by single-handedly losing the TN game and in doing so, denying any Jet fan the opportunity to go to an amped-up MetLife this Sunday against a SD team (and a lame duck coach) that has nothing to play for, if for nothing else then to possibly play for a playoff spot in Buffalo and be able to (if just for a day) tell the Jet trolls out there in ESPN & WFAN-ville to piss off.

Mark Sanchez for the 2nd straight year has wrecked Christmas for thousands of little Gentile Jet boys and girls, and your still proselytizing that Sanchez bull**** of yours?

I mean nobody but nobody's buying your Sanchez b.s. anymore amigo.
Maybe you should thank me for giving you more credit for being a troll- cause the alternative is a delusional clueless homer that even your fellow homers are now calling out.

Actually it doesn't b/c NE attempted TWO OS kicks, we never even attempted one. The situatiosnwere nothing alike, I was at BOTH games, I could tell you the Pitt crowd was really nervous and the NE crowd thought they had no chance. we were one defensive stop away from getting the ball w/ a chance to win. Pitt had to get 2 first downs not just sit on it..
The Jets never attempted an onside kick because they never had the chance. The Jets kicked it deep with 3:00 left and let Pitt roll over them to run out the clock. A chance to get the ball back with an opportunity to tie or take the lead is a chance no matter how it comes about. The Jets opportunity came on D with a chance to stop Pitt to get the ball back. They failed. Game over. NE's opportunity came with an onside kick with 2:00 left in the game. They failed, but the game wasn't over yet because the Jets scored a garbage time TD and left NE with 1:35 on the clock. NE scored again to cut it to a 1 score game AGAIN and had another chance to get the ball back with an opportunity to tie or take the lead. The situations were not alike since Pitt was beating the Jets by 21 at one point and the Jets biggest lead against NE was 14. NE also had TWO opportunities to get the ball back with a chance to tie or take the lead near the end and the Jets only had 1.

Neither game was a whipping, but if you insist that the Jets whipped NE, then Pitt also whipped your team. You are so one sided it's not even funny. If some other team scores late to make the score close, you say you don't care about garbage time scores, but if the Jets score late to make the score closer, you say the offense scored when they needed the points the most.

The Jets are the joke of the NFL. They have no QB, a horrible OC, a head coach who ignores the offensive side of the ball and a GM who made possibly the dumbest decision in the NFLs history giving Sanchez an extension.

You guys are arguing with a troll who has no clue what the Jets issues are and if he did, his debate would offer no solutions.

Junc you're a guest on the board. Act like it.

Where will Mark Sanchez & his $8.25 mil contract play in 2013? Two sources familiar w his situation believe it'll be with ... the Jets.

we never needed to, we scored to oull w/in 5 w/ over 3 mins left and I believe 2 TOs. All we had to do was keep Pitt from getting 2 1st downs to have a chance, our D couldn't do it. We never needed to kick an OS kick, NE needed to kick TWO. The situations were nothing alike.

You didn't and therefore never had a chance to tie or take the lead from the second quarter on which in your mind is a whipping. All NE had to do was recover an onside kick to have a chance. NE had TWO opportunities to get the ball back with a chance to tie. The Jets only had 1. If the Jets whipped NE, then Pitt whipped the Jets. Your words, not mine.

Come Again???? , Last I looked, the Fins actually won a division title in 08, something the jest haven't sniffed in a long time (but then again, the last time the jest won a Conference Title was like "never"

you're so funny with your fanciful parsed homeristic "all we had to do" bull****"

More likely to happen than stopping Pittsburgh on 2 first downs was the Fins Carpenter making at least 1 of 2 kicks that over 80% of his peers made at that time for the Fins to sweep the Jest, the Fins D stopping at least 1 AZ 4th and very long and the net result would have been the jest 5-9 and the Fins 8-6 and playoff bound. Much more likely to have happened but it didn't nor did any of your "what if's" surrounding the pathetic last 1.5 years performance of the pathetic Three Ring Circus known as NY's red-headed step child, The Jests.
