    Very disappointing

I expected little from the first PS game, and got much less than I expected. We sucked on both sides of the ball. IMO, the D sucked worse than the O, only because they were supposed to be VG. That starts with being able to tackle, which they forgot how to do.

In the NFL, they say you learn from your mistakes. After this showing, coaches are going to have a problem sorting out anything that was mot a mistake.

Then why were you disappointed? About the same 4 years running with about the same players?? Coaches are new & inexperienced ... uh oh!!

What did you see that was so disappointing.

I didn't even watch the game and I can almost explain everything that you guys are complaining about tonight.

We'ee talking about a first year coach with a new system, our starting QB goes down, Ryan Tannehill gets his first taste of NFL football and from what I'm being told by friends who were there, he looked pretty calm out there.

We played a team who has had a time in the current system. They have some familiarity. I expect Tampa to be a little ahead of the curve even though they're not a great team.

I know that a lot of you think that winning every single game is everything but it's really not. I can't count the number of times I've read this board and heard someone say, "They didn't win that game we lost it." And that's a true statement. You can play poorly and have a couple of things that go your way, or you can play great football and get better as a team and still lose.

Don't read too much into this game here just yet.

There were a lot of very good teams (the Packers among them) who looked bad this week. We're going to have growing pains.

After sitting here being mad for 2 hours after the first game, once again I agree with this post. I saw some positive things with Tannehill and some of the offense, but the defense against the Bucs was a joke. I know it is the first game.. I just expected more from our D...

Kidding man, but yeah. This team overall is young and gonna go through some growing pains. Let's just hope we can get as many of those outta the way during preseason. A lot will be known about this team by the time the 3rd preseason game is done and over with. Tannehill had a damn great debut. If he keeps this up, he'll definitely be the week one starter. That bandwagon is growing fast!

Be afraid, Brady. Be very afraid!

I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

JCane has always been the voice of reason lol. It's just that sometimes people don't like the reasoning that I bring despite how true it might be.

I love this team more than I love most of my family members. But I've never been the kind of fan to sip Kool-Aid and lie to myself about how good this team is. I seriously didn't watch one second of the game. Woke up at 9:00PM because I'm having to work a rare Friday night. But from just GLANCING...not actually reading...just GLANCING...I can already sense that FinHeaven is in full tire fire mode already. Too many overreactions about one preseason game. And I'm a guy who will eventually sit down and watch all of these preseason games at least three times. Wait until at least the third preseason game before making crazy assumptions about the team.

What I was disappointed about was the lack of being able to block, tackle, and beat the guy in front of you. This is not scheme, new O, new D but, basics of playing the game.
