    Fullback spot

I must confess that I didn't notice the fullbacks in the Tampa Bay game. Did Javorskie Lane or Mahaffey or Messam do anything?
Messam seems more of a massive RB. I like his size but don't know how well he uses his body to intimidate.

    I didn't notice them either

Messam caught a screen pass late in the game, but got tackled quickly. I noticed Mahaffey, but more because he's number 6.

From what has been said on twitter, Mafaffey is the best blocker of the 3, Lane is the better runner, and Messam is behind as he's learning how to play FB

Unfortunately a running back wearing the #6 is usually cut during the first cuts.

I like what I have seen from Javorski Lane, he can lay the wood & is built like a bowling ball. Fins will hand him the ball from time to time in practices & he moves the pile. It was not shown on TV, but duing last weeks game Lane had a heck of a block on ST, pretty impressive.

Zach Thomas: I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them.

I saw Lane playing early. I'm watching online so it is hard to see.

Not sure if it has been talked about but this was a passing game for us, I think to test our QBs. We passed 50 times to only 15 runs.

Javorskie absolutely destroyed someone on ST as FinAtic8480 said.

I'll bet Lane gets the job. Hopefully he doesn't end up like Fred Lane, though.
