Zach Thomas: I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them.

Looks like we finally have a coaching staff that actually understands football.

Good. He deserves the opportunity to play against Carolina's 1s. If he sucks, dress Matt Moore as the #1 for the third preseason game. If he does well, give him the keys.

Well to be fair I think there was something lost in translation...the caption read he "may" start this week, and I think Steve Levy misspoke when he said he WILL start...so I think its more like "may", no decision has been made...Herm was pretty adamant though about starting Tanny, though I really can't stand Herm lol...I agree with what he said, and I dont think we are markedly better with Moore in there, or even Garrard if he was healthy...the only way to find out the kid is ready, is by throwing him in there...everyone points to Aaron Rodgers riding the pine, but they had no choice, Favre wasn't going to be unseated by a rookie, he was still playing some good football, despite his age...
    Trust in Tanny

It has been so long that it's hard for me to understand what this means.

Yea, what he said. I think Levy kinda jumped the gun on that one.....
