    Hartline!!!

Where are you man! We need you..

I was just writing in another thread, but i want to get more opinions..Does anyone else here think that injuries during training camp are drastically over played? Do you think that if the season started today, that Burnett, Dansby, and even Hartline would be playing? I think all three would...Sometimes i feel like NFL players with secure roster spots over dramatize their injuries to get time off, and the coaches dont question them too hard because 1) The player wont get a more serious season ending injury in TC , 2) because they get more reps to younger guys. Seriously how many weeks could it take to heal a pulled calf muscle? A sore hamstring? I feel like after a week or two, with world class professional NFL training staff and dietitians , that they should be out at practice..it just seems sketchy to me..I guess we will see week 1.

Why does everyone keep thinking Hartline is the savior at WR??? I see it here, I see it on facebook, just about everywhere...Dude's been absent all of training camp and he's a #2 or #3 WR at best. I'm not even sure he would have beaten out Chad Johnson for the #1 spot...Hartline starting this season isn't solving our WR problem.

I don't think he's a "savior" but he's sure handed. Him and Bess are two guys who can run good routes and catch poor throws.

Omg enough of this crap already. Ever heard the saying absence makes the heart grow stronger ? The guy has been nothing for us since he was drafted he's not gonna suddenly be a consistent threat now. I still say cut the guy despite how bad the other wide outs look doesn't make him more worthy of a roster spot.

600 yard 15ypc is pretty solid for a #3 in a bad offense. Everyone will point to lack of TDs but Brandon Marshall had terrible TD numbers too thats on QB and play calling.

Definitely not saying he's our savior -- but at this point we clearly need all the help we can get at wr..no one can convince me that we arernt a better team with him out there, and don't we all want to get better ?

I just don't see how a calf pull is keeping him out this long..that being said i believe that he will play week one and instantly upgrade our little wr situation .. I'm not saying we will become an amazing offense with him, but definitely upgraded
