Are there realistic moves that can improve pass-catching talent this season?

Just having Hartline back and trading for someone like James Jones would be a huge improvement. Jones, Hartline, Bess, Naanee, Gates/Matthews/Moore is a lot better than Naanee, Moore, Bess...

Don't think waivers gets us someone who could be a #1/2 type, but you never know.

    Trade for Wallace very unlikely.

If you're Ireland you have to do SOMETHING about the WR position before week 1, but what?

What about Jeremy Shocky? Has he been signed? I know he is kind of a meatball but he might be better than what we have on the field right now.

Unfortunately WR is going to be the #1 priority going into 2013. Hartline IMO is really missed, his presence would keep Nanee in a reserve role. I can see where the team his headed and it's all predicated on getting solid play from Jerry and Martin on the right side of the O-Line and WR's that fit this WCO. I think we fans hoped that some WR would have come in and improve enough to give Whatever QB a better chance to see more success. Unfortunately Wallace, Moore and Nanee seem to be the Training Camp Star's but fail to produce when the lights actually come on. Hartline's healthy return along with Bess and Fasano give Miami a chance. But it's going to take more to get this offense to take the next step. It probably won't be until 2013.

From what I saw of Legedu Naanee this preseason, I would rather keep a young developmental guy like Hogan and get rid of Naanee.

The problem with having a poor GM is even if there are moves to make, it's unrealistic to believe he'd make them. This is the man who's given us Legedu as our number one.

yeah, play Fuller and Matthews as regulars. cut Naanee.

Fuller has size to take on smaller CB's with slants and high balls and gets open.

Matthws just catches the damn ball even when not open.

Philbin cant keep this guy on top. No way, although I will say that Tannehill's timing is off with the ones.

Chad couldn't even catch the ball that was thrown his way and you want him back?

seriously? it was ONE pass.. I was watching Chad and he still has the foot work of an elite receiver.. sense you saw the drop then you obviously ignored the move he put on the db to get open.. it was vet savvy.. ONE drop for a 6 time pro bowler in preseason worries me less than multiple drops by multiple scrubs who cant get open anyway
