Tower of babel

So here is a question - lets hope we can have a good sensible debate on it

So if God scaterred those in ancient times and confused their tongue becuase they were working together to build a tower to heaven in babel, why would he allow 'man' to reach the moon or do we/you feel the whole moon landing is a hoax or is something else going on here and if so what are your thoughts on it?

This has raised itself recently with the death of Neil Armstrong.

Well nowhere in Genesis 11 does it say that man was trying to reach Heaven, but rather the heavens which just means the sky. God didn’t confuse their language for this, he confused their language because man didn’t disperse across the Earth as he and the animals were commanded to do in Genesis 9, but rather he grouped up in one area. So in order to force his dispersal God confused man’s language and he then dispersed across the Earth. So space travel is completely unrelated to the story of Babel really.
