Its not weird at all considering his background. He was basically raised by her which shouldn't be surprising if you have been around any public school setting. Its a growing trend unfortunately.

I thought the look on his face was funny. Not sure what was funny about him wanting to tell his grandma.

It makes him weird because as soon as Jeff told him he was being traded, his first reaction was to call his Grandma! Vontae was going to call her in Jeff Ireland's office! At least have a conversation with the guy about why you were traded before you do that. Can you imagine if Ireland had to sit there and listen to Vontae telling his grandma he is headed to Indy? THAT would have been great television.

Hell why not speak with Grandma whats left to say to Ireland

Oh boo hoo. A millionaire has to move. God forbid, he'll probably just pay someone to do everything. Big deal, he has his money and probably a super hot girl to go home and bang.

    This thread is uncalled for

I have no ill will toward Vontae. He had been with the team for three years - he probably had settled down here, started a new life. If you were told you had to, essentially, move away from your home overnight, how would you react?
Couldnt have said it any better.. if i could give double thumbs up i would
    1. Sign Mike Wallace
    2. Resign Smith, Hartline, Starks, & Fasano.
    3. Draft CB Rd. 1
    4. Draft FS & "Seam Threat" TE Rd. 2
    5. Draft WR & DE Rd. 3
    6. Draft LB

Hater's shake my hand, but i keep that sanitizer on DECK!

I like Davis as a player, but his face was funny. Get over it. A lot of sensitive people here I see.

The reason he was cut has a lot to do with his behavior.

I've always liked Vontae, he does seem a little slow and I did feel bad for him watching that.

That still doesn't make him weird.. what that makes him out to be is a human with emotional feelings. point blank.

Hard to believe that the Trifecta didnt pick up on this prior to drafting him in the 1st round - its obvious he has some issues. Green Bay must of been dumbfounded when we took him prior to them taking Matthews!
