It makes him weird because as soon as Jeff told him he was being traded, his first reaction was to call his Grandma! Vontae was going to call her in Jeff Ireland's office! At least have a conversation with the guy about why you were traded before you do that. Can you imagine if Ireland had to sit there and listen to Vontae telling his grandma he is headed to Indy? THAT would have been great television.

He spoke with Ireland and told him that he wasn't going to give up and that we would see him again. All Vontae wanted to know was what we traded him for. Give me a break.

Why does that make him weird? He probably grew up without a mother father figure and his grandma is all he has.. aint no shame in that. some of us arent blessed with a luxury of always having your family around. Honestly he looked depressed that he was leaving as if he didnt wanna go. I mean if he was static to pack his bags and leave i doubt he would have asked who he got traded for?
