The people that used to do that arn't here anymore.
This release doesn't necessarily mean he's not coming back. Veteran salaries are guaranteed for the year if they're on the roster Week 1.
Trophy #3 is coming in June.

He will ask for guarenteed money. If you give it to him, he will become "injured", say he is sitting out again till next year, do a lot of fishing, jet skiing, and chill out with all your free money. If you bring him in for a look and offer him a contract that he has to earn with no guarenteed money, he will bad mouth your organization in the media and suggest you arent giving him respect. He did the same thing to us last year around October. Then two weeks later he was having back surgery and saying he would come back next season if someone gave him a signing bonus. LOL at whichever team is foolish enough to do that before the 2012 preseason........ OH...... WAIT.

Personally, I wouldnt waste time with him. Its just a bad idea all the way around. Just contacting him would be damaging to your franchise.
