I thought it was a great speech. The guy has the ability and drive to work across party lines to get things done. Many politicians, right and left, have mentioned how polarized the two have become. This type of thing paralyzes the country. If you don't think he's a good speaker you weren't listening.

It was a great speech. None of the Republican speakers came close not even Ryan and Romney.

I must have missed the part about how repealing glass steagel was so great for the housing market and the future economy. Or how nafta saved all those manufacturing jobs. Or how about passing in obl. We all know how that story turned out.

The moron happened to be president during the Internet boom with republicans in charge of spending.
Its fun to believe in fairy tales but at some point your too old to still be watching cartoons.

I thought it was pretty amazing. By the way, if we are talking politics on this forum our team must suck, huh?

Out of the last few presidents Clinton was the best. I really liked his last 1.9 trillion dollar budget that's for sure. At least there was some kind of fiscal responsibility. Welfare reform was good as well. To be fair he did have the luxury of being at the begining of the housing boom which skews his economic record considering the bust that came with it. Things like Waco and Ruby Ridge were unforgivable and no one was punished for it. And bombing that medicine plant wasn't a good move at all.

I still have trouble with the whole Clinton thing. I just don't think that sexual predators should be given a forum. He would have been fired had he been employed in any company in the US. Remember him saying "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." How do you trust another statement he makes thereafter about anything?
