Draft Tavon Austin at 12... Think Offense/Special Teams!

With Bess's future being up in the air it's a no brainer. Tavon could help us on offense in the slot/rb position and on special teams. Everybody knows we need help in the special teams area. Address the tackle situation vie free agency and bring in a veteran safety to put over the top of the young corners that we draft.

A couple things, I love Bess, but if we can trade him for a pick 4th or higher then i do it. I know Jeffery will never take a wr at #12, but if he did take Tavon at 12 i would buy season tickets immeditately. I know hes small but i think he can be a stud.

I totally agree with you. For those of you who have not seen this kid play please youtube him before posting--some of you are so clueless. Bess is a free agent next year and we need his replacement. This kid is the real deal and would be unstoppable in the slot with all the other weapons we have! He will score TD's unlike Bess, he will run out of the backfield like Bush, he will be a monster on special teams. Think a more dynamic Randall Cobb, who like Cobb can be used all over the field and on ST. If he's there I say do it--he's a special talent! We need playmakers and he's is probably the biggest playmaker in this draft.

I do think he is a lot better than ginn, but the similarities are there. Both fast guys without a true position, and what will his receiver skills add up to in the NFL. Plus the fact that the draft position is so close to Ginn's freaks me out a bit. If they can trade down a bit and get him Im all for it, but at 12 there are a lot more can't miss guys that can help the team.

This would really make the offense dangerous and its a move I've been thinking more and more about lately.
Attack the Person, Not the Ideas:

Attack the person in some way. For example:
    • Attack their expertise, questioning their qualifications or experience
    • Comment on their inability to make a good argument
    • Attach them to discredited others
    Example

You are not qualified to make such a statement.
You would say that, wouldn't you.
And who do you think is going to believe you.

Attacking the Person is a form of

I worry about Austin's size.He is really small and slightly built.Slot receivers take some hits and need to be pretty tough.

His playmaking potential is obvious and he would be an intriguing pick.

But with the cash the Fins have invested in WR I can't see them using a high 1st rounder at that spot.
It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!

Exactly, that's who I want to see in the Dolphins uniform playing on Sundays. And Patterson too.
