Good assessment hoops. I'm not feeling it with Kyle Long...didn't like what I saw yesterday with him. Of the O-line guys I was impressed with Eric Fisher, Brian Winters, Cave the center from Notre Dame had his moments and Quessenberry looks pretty good. Only saw the North practice so I don't know about the South.

quessenberry and winters are interesting...i liked quesses work yesterday...winters looks to me like he may be more a power scheme fit...pretty aggressive tough nasty guy

i think if trufant looks as good as he did yesterday rest of the week we'll be lucky to see him there still when our high 2nd rounder comes up...love the way he competes and his attitude...has good tape in press and off man this season...of the north corners he' be my first choice...followed by poyer

wasn't in love with any wr i saw yesterday on the north squad...
hoops scoops...prospects mia should target top 4 rounds 2013 draft...

I think Winters could fit in the ZBS as a Guard...he's got pretty good feet and he's pretty athletic.

I think of the WRs on the North I liked what I saw from Dobson...for a guy that's almost 6'3" he moves pretty good. Reminds me a little of Anquan Boldin watching him yesterday. Wheaton is smooth but just not strong enough, if you give him a free release he'll burn you but I thought he struggled a bit with the physical corners like Poyer and Trufant.

agreed on wheaton...i think thats a kid that likely is still on the board in the 3rd round...i don't think given that lack of strength i would consider him any earlier...and i didn't really see rediculous blow by speed with him either...so it wasn't like he was a little guy that was just torching people down the field...

of the wrs and corners i thought trufant and poyer were the best prospects...although poyer i have some things i want answers on still...

dobson interesting boldin comparison...he's got some things going for him but if he runs a 4.7 like boldin i won't consider him before a mid round pick at least...just not separating enough for me to take the chance...watching the north wrs made me feel more and more confident targeting robert woods and stedman bailey in round 2...

I think a lot of the physical play that hurt Wheaton would be ruled illegal. Strength is definitely an issue, but if he gets a release, he gets as much separation as any WR in the draft. I'd be very happy with Wheaton at the top of the 3rd. And 5'11 is a good height for him. Not ideal, but I was worried that he'd measure a little shorter. I know I prefer Wheaton to Dobson at this point. Think he's a better player, and I think he brings a special element to the field. Dobson is solid, and if he's there with our 2nd 3rd, and we haven't already acquired a 2nd WR, I'd give him a hard look.

Slimm mentioned King as a WR he liked, and King is getting more hype than any WR after one practice. Curious to see how his week unfolds.

Tavarres King is a guy I had my eye on at the beginning of the season. My issue with him though is that he is very inconsistent, he'll have games where he explodes and games where you're not sure he's even playing. He's a natural pass catcher though, good route runner, catches the ball with his hands away from his body. Not sure what kind of speed he has, I'd say he's a mid 4.5's guy.

Did Slimm like him, yeah? I watched a few videos of him, nothing more than that - maybe 30-45 mins worth of snaps in all - and I was very impressed. Not highlight videos, I stress, but at the same time I'm sure games get selected where he actually does something. Seems from reading about him there are plenty of games where he doesn't do anything. He and Still are two of the most talented guys in the draft, IMO, but both seem to suffer from inconsistency. That's why I feel this week will be huge for King - it's a chance to get evaluated on something other than streaky tape.

I'd have thought King was a late 4.4's man...

senior bowl day 2 full pads north squad...

cb will davis of utah st hasn't made a play in the 2 days he's been here...what he has been doing is repeatedly getting roasted either off the los or with guys with crisper feet and more explosive...i'm a big pass on this kid...really underwhelming

wr chris harper of k state is heavy legged...lacks burst is wearing guys like drapes down the field...unable to separate even from a stiff safety like tj mcdonald in one on ones...another guy i'm a big pass on...just not separating in his cuts or out of his breaks not making guys open their hips...there's some stiffness there i don't like also...guys are sitting on stuff with him

wr denard robinson is showing awfully raw as a route runner...pretty much what i expected...we need more polish not a project...

cb jordan poyers feet and hips look very good but like the nfl network guys i have some concerns about long speed as well...just have not seen much deep speed from him on tape...still if the kid from vandy last year can run as slow as he did and still fare as well as he did this year in green bay i think poyers got the instincts and feel for routes and tools to be a solid pro...i'm thinking he's a late 4.5's guy...i like his hand use to ride the wr down the field...solid 2nd rounder imo

cb desmond trufant just keeps putting out good looking tape in this setting...best corner on the field top guy on the north squad no doubt in my mind...uses his hands well transitions well drives on the football in off man well...very impressed...i bet he runs a late 4.4's worst case also...this kid may be the 3rd corner off the board come april...

dave quessenberry had a terrific day today...sat down well in pass pro anchored when he needed to showed off good feet and locked guys out...very impressive...i also think he has some kick inside versatility at guard...

brian winters also with a very good day...i think that kid and quessenberry are climbing up draft board...winters quess and fisher are the best looking oline prospects on the north squad...for a mauler winters got decent feet...winters also moved pretty well in 11 on 11 drills pulling

de michael buchanon why is that guy here??? all he gets is owned...pugh another kid from cuse who had a solid day today ate his lunch also...anybody that's lined up across from that kid has killed him

still waiting to see some margus hunt in space rush off the outside shoulder...i've seen pretty much nothing but in a phone booth stuff...i want see him line up on the outside shoulder of a tackle and get off the ball and try and gain the corner and chop the outside arm...everything i have seen on the inside he's looked pretty raw and sluggish...off balance a lot...

eric fisher made alex okafor look like chump change every time they lined up across from eachother...i mean just killed him...

datone jones only guy to get the better of fisher in a one on one...jones shows nice explosive movement off the ball and good hips and short area lateral agility plus very good hand use to chop down blockers hands...he flashes on ucla tape also...interesting kid but i haven't viewed him as a all around player reviewing the ucla games i have seen...flashes pass rush though and he knows how to use those hands...situational player??? hmmm....anyways that initial outside step fisher overcommits redirect back inside arm over move was pretty impressive...

the wisconsin ot wagner who i said on tape is way to stiff to play tackle to me showed about like i expected him to...off balance not a good bender no thanks...

the san jose st te otten hasn't shown much...figured he's got more separation against man coverage...
