I particularly liked when he addressed the batted down balls. He is correct when he implies people overreact. He calmly states that they went over it in practice and that hopefully we will achieve a different outcome in the game.

Ryan was asked the same question on his presser today too. His response was "JJ Watt just has a knack on batting passes".
It seems that we are not used to Philbin yet. He's new here, and hasn't gone through the misery we all have. So I think he is taking a methodical approach to preseason, adjust, game one, adjust, etc. I think he sees more into the future than we do. Once again, we want results now. He's here to BUILD a winner.

scary part is, no one wants to be held accountable on this team, its been like this snce the last regime, always saying how good the other team was and how we didnt just suck out there and were unprepared.

Tom Brady had 7 balls batted at the LOS by the Giants in the Super Bowl this year (vs Tanny's 5). It was one game by Tanny. Philbin's correct. A lot of people are overreacting at this point. If it happens every game I'll start worrying, but at this point it's much ado about nothing. Philbin will address it like any coach would address issues from a prior game, but people are playing chicken little a bit too much.
