FIST PUMP TAG NFL Power Rankings: Week 2

    The Drum Roll:

I am going to try to keep these going this year. Last year We welcomed my son into the world and I Just didn't have time.

Well here we are again at the bottom of the league. We haven't been here since Cam's reign. I know it’s only the first week but I do not think we were ever this low during the sparano experiment.

I will say though that we played a team (Texans) that most of these guys praise as SB contenders and have them ranked in the top 5 but since we lost to them we are somehow the worst team in the league? Sure we had a meltdown in the second half, but we had them on their heels most of the first half. So in my eyes either we are underrated or the Texans are way overrated. We shall see.

So this week we are taking on the raiders, if our team is better than what the general consensus is (and I believe we are) and they Texans are not overrated (yet to be seen) we should walk away with a victory if we can prevent turnovers.

As it turns out, Brandon Marshall, Chad Johnson and Vontae Davis might have been the lucky ones. They're not going to have to endure the misery to come in Miami this season.

Ryan Tannehill threw three interceptions and they came in back-to-back-to-back possessions. Yes, three in a row. And then on the fourth possession, a fumble. Long days ahead in Miami

This'll be a dogfight for the No. 32 spot every week. Miami gutted its way into a 30-10 loss and deserves this honor.

I can't believe it either. I think people like to hate us. Its like tey have nothing better to do than point at every freakin thing we do wrong. We're no different than anyone else. Mike Florio is the worst. Everyone loves to hate us. I don't care.

INTERNALIZE...THEN REALIZE that when the dolphins are in the mix later in the year, everyone will have egg on their face.

Since when did Trent Dilfer become a qb Guru? He's a former 1st overall BUST. Might as well be listening to HEath Shuler. Oh I forgot, he's doing something with his life.

But at least one outsider doesn’t think Tannehill can do anything to fix the problem: ESPN analystTrent Dilfer, a former 15-year NFL quarterback, who said Tannehill’s five tipped passes last week was “freakish” and not the quarterback’s fault.
“I don’t think it’s correctable on Tannehill’s side,” Dilfer said Wednesday. “I don’t want this kid to start getting killed that he’s staring down receivers or his release is too low.”
“Typically, what allows you to not get balls knocked down is a quick release, or the shortest arc on the ball. And he has one of the quickest releases there is, so it doesn’t really make sense.”

I remember when we used to win opening day every year. Heck I remember the issues of SI that had us as the pick to win the SB.

Seems lke a long time ago.

But what can ya do? You just gotta keep believing.

Blame alot of people but Ireland didn't ruin this team. The reason we are 32nd is because we never rebuilt the right way. Blame Saban, Wannstedt, Cam Cameron, Mueller, Spiellman, Parcels, Ireland, sparano, and the FANS. The fans wanted griese over fiedler, and lucas over fiedler. The fans didn't buy the tickets to sell out games in the playoffs. The fans expect so much but havent even seen a superbowl since 84. This team has tried quick fixes and fillin's for years. They want more but can't support the team at its weakest moment. We have some of the worst fans! Check the last 15 years, and you will see what I'm talking about. I've been a fan through thick and thin. Watched every game from start to finish and cheered even when we were getting demolished. I understand, like everyone here, that the dolphins are a shell of their former selves. Fact is, every team goes through the lows and it's up to the fans to do their job as the 12th man. So, like all of the people in charge of this mess in the big boy chairs, we are to blame just as much. "Just do your job", as Bill Belichek has said. Our job is to be here for our team.
    CAPTAIN COMEBACK!

I'm thinking because your so epic, you should change the opening line to "The SirDrums Roll"

(On Miami sports teams being popular)

-“That’s not competition,” LeBron said. “That’s like you rooting for your family members. That’s not competition at all. It would be great to have him, but we’ll see.”
