    Bump's new puppy.

    He's awesome!

    I named him Csonka (Zonk) ... He's a 9 week old Boxer-Lab mix.

He has **** on my floor twice already since 5:00

I haven't had a dog since I was about 6 or 7, so any housebreaking tips would be much appreciated.

    Bump's new puppy.

I just got a puppy 8 months ago the best way to train a dog is get a crate, a leash and a harness or collar. After he eats wait like 20 mins then take him out with leash and collar/harness. Always do that religiously after he eats. The crate is for the puppy to sleep in at night to train him to hold his bladder.

Whenever he does his business outside whether it be piss or crap praise him like a baby, i know it sounds stupid but it works. You can also always tell when a dog needs To go when they start sniffing in circles.

    Crate? Check.
    Leash/collar? Check.

    Advice? Thanks, I'll do that.

Considering all those West Virginny outhouses down there in the hollow, at least someone is crapping in the house. It's a step in the right direction

Well, there's still hope for him. I'll keep an eye on this thread, because we're in the process of adopting a Great Dane.

Congrats man, looking forward to the pictures. Of the puppy, not you pissing yourself.

Every time the dog ****s or pisses on the floor kick your wife or girlfriend, it will motivate them to take the dog out more often.
