    NOT SO FAST David Amerson

Drop him down the draft boards. He got destroyed by Tennessee & Cordarrelle Patterson in week 1 for two TDs. Today vs the U in the first quarter alone he's already been beat for three TDs in three different ways (speed, height, laziness). Cordarrelle exposed him for his lack of speed as did Phillip Dorsett, Allen Hurns beat him in the corner on a good route, & he fell asleep in coverage on Rashawn Scott.

Amerson just got beat by Rashawn Scott on a slant for his 4th TD allowed today vs the U. Not to mention an offsides on the FG attempt on the previous drive that gave the U a first down which eventually lead to another TD.

And Amerson caps the game off by allowing the game winning 62 yd TD pass to Phillip Dorsett. He has certainly fallen out of the first round on today alone.

Never seen a worst performance by a CB at any level.

Have to agree. Slimm nailed it when he said that he was weak in man.

The fact that teams aren't afraid to throw in his direction is very telling. He's still a ballhawk, but obviously is better served as a safety. I had no problems with him as a Dolphin after last year (coverage issues aside). But this year ... I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed in school after his performance so far.

The last touchdown wasn't to his man, but he had a chance to get back and make a play on the ball and seemed to just quit. I'm not one to bash players, seeing they have down games and sometimes years for reasons we don't always know about, however there's no doubt his stock is falling fast. It's not just his physical skills, but his attitude just seems very poor. I would not take him in the first or second round and would maybe consider him with the second third round pick. He might bounce back and have a good NFL career, but you could get burned bad if you select him early.

On the game winning touchdown NC State was in a 3-Deep zone & Dorsett was in Amerson's zone & got behind him.

This is why he should be a safety. However I think the pendulum is swinging too far the other way. As a safety he's got pretty good value. I don't see him dropping to the third day as I've seen some put forward.

I'm not sure how anybody who broke down his sophomore tape would've had a 1st round grade on him to begin with and wouldn't have seen this coming. He cannot transition.

I wen't to the Uconn vs NC state game and in warmups you'd sweat the kid was the best player on the field but like TedSlim said his transition is AWFUL his hips are stiffer than Sean Smith's coming out of college,

He Got turned around twice by #31 for 20+ yard gains
