According to Pro Football Weekly, Jermichael Finley's long-term future in Green Bay is "not looking good at all."

The Packers want to see Finley start producing at the Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski level before they shell out big money. Finley just signed a two-year, $14 million contract in February, but with a $4.45 million roster bonus due on the 15th day of the 2013 league year, the Packers could choose to cut ties early. Finley has all of the ability in the world, but he hasn't done it on a consistent basis. Green Bay has talented back-ups in Andrew Quarless and D.J. Williams. Finley has 15 catches for 133 yards and a touchdown through the season's first three weeks.

This team desperately needs a seem threat TE and given his history with Philbin I think we would should bring him in. I just dont know about Finley anymore, dude has so much raw talent and upside but he is injury prone and so inconsistent. Maybe it would be like a situation with Martellus Bennett, the cowboys cut him and he is finally reaching his potential with the Giants. Anyways, if Finley does get cut down the line maybe we take a look.

I'd take Finley but not at the $7M average contract the Packers are paying him. It might give us an advantage having Philbin as our coach and Javorskie Lane (Finley's half brother) on the roster, but money still talks. My first move would be to do everything i could to draft Zach Ertz.

Bring him in, Finley has worlds of talent and they would be fools to let him go.

rolf, you ppl are actually excited about signing more butter finger free agents on to this team who is already plagued by lagana nanes of the world?? Finley drops almost everything, and the packers are starting to see just how much he is hurting them. Stay away. Lets build threw the draft like philbin said.

The passing game is so pathetic that it will take a mix of trades, FA's and picks to get it rolling.

build through the draft is a great idea if we had the right GM.
