It's pretty obvious that he is an ineffective player at this point, but I'm convinced that two staffs (and a front office) have ruined a player by trying to make him into the type of runner they wanted him to be instead of being the runner he was. Thomas was effective in his first two games last year, and easily outplayed Bush, it was only his hamstring injury that kept him from running away with the bulk of carries. Regardless of the production, all we ever heard from both staffs is that they wanted him to be more "physical", that they thought he wasn't using his size, etc. Now when I see Thomas get the ball, I see him making the most baffling cuts I can imagine, and I can see him running into defenders that he could clearly get past without them being able to wrap up. It seems as if Thomas is running the way he was lead to believe the staff wanted him to run, which is physical, but the only problem is that it's not productive and is hardly generating any yards when he touches the ball.

The Daniel Thomas of week two and three last year would have been much more productive.

Running backs like him that are big and don't have speed or power..played in the league in 89...not 2012

Agree completely. Lamar Miller has been 1000x better running than Thomas this year. Thomas is a fumbling machine too to top it off.

Every time he carries the ball I get scared he's gonna fumble it and he sucks at hitting holes

H,mmmmmm Bush averaged 2.5 yards per carry today..... Thomas averaged 2.9.,... I agree with the MOB let's cut Thomas and based on the logic applied, we must cut Bush too...
