    Extend Jeff Ireland...

Everyone that has talked smack about the guy the last couple of years, this is what he's given us:

Big men that ENSURE that any given week, we can dominate any given team in the trenches.
Reggie Bush for a low round draft pick.
Ryan Tannehill. Davone Bess. Brian Hartline. Anthony Fasano.
Vontae Davis, who has regressed MAJORLY.. for a 2nd and late pick..
Lots of picks and lots of money this offseason...

More than anything.. a BIG, STRONG, TOUGH team that can bang and play ANY style of football required of it.

If you are a Dolphins fan and aren't encouraged by what we've seen this year, you might want to find another team. I'm afraid nothing will ever be good enough for you.

We get a legit #1 receiver and just keep this core INTACT..we will be a force to reckoned with for years to come.

THAT SAID...this year is far from over. Tannehill has shown that he's got it. I, for one, am pumped.

I'm definitely encouraged by what I've seen this year. Even in the loss yesterday I was surprisingly happy and optimistic about this team's future.

We still don't do the most important thing... That would be called winning. I think our new GM should be charlie sheen... he surely knows how to win.

Yes. His first year here, coming off a 1-15 season, we make the playoffs. Chad Henne era starts..we know how that goes. You cannot blame the Dolphins for giving Henne time. They missed and moved on. He got injured Matt Moore went 6-3.

If we don't have the Henne era, how does our recent history look?

Progressive thinking coach with a GM able to build a tough team. Extend him.

There is no way, in any shape or form, that I am ready to say give Jeff Ireland an extension. However, I think I am one of those who are not as down on him as others are. Despite the two heartbreaking losses, I am very, very excited about the direction of this team right now. I am of the opinion that I would like to see what team Ireland and Philbin can do this next offseaon with FA and the draft before deciding Ireland's fate.

Yes, this team has glaring weaknesses right now, but this roster nearly needed a complete overhaul to go from Parcells / Sparano type players to the type of players Joe Philbin wants. Impossible to accomplish in one offseason. I think Ireland and Philbin are working great together, and want to give them one more offseason together before I make a final decision on Ireland.

I'm sorry but Jeff Ireland has not done a good job. The team's free agency was disastrously bad this offseason, among other things.
Me say come, Mister Fisher man, show me da contract
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

An' it's six mil, seven mil, eight mil bunch
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

No. Outside of Bess and Hartline our receivers have 4 catches, and a fumble. That is pathetic for a west coast offense that is all about spreading the ball around.
