Can we please stop making posts that get a lot of "thanks" turn green? It's quite an eye-sore and I oftentimes find myself thanking the poster also, for the sole purpose of turning the post back into it's regular colors.

Yeah but I don't think it's proper to "Thanks" or "No Thanks" a post before you even read it. That's normally what I do, but it seems like a work-around for a broken feature.
Maybe a lesser shade of green and red? More transparent maybe?

I agree. It wouldn't be a problem if it was more transparent but damn is the red hard to read. I give a no thanks just so i can read it.
