    I thought there were going to be actual FACTS...a fact would be 90% of FG are good after a timeout is called within two minutes of the game by the opposing coach (not saying that is a fact). Making the statement, "In fact, it could work..." doesn't qualify as a fact imo.

    Fact: Kickers statistically make less field goals when you ice them vs when you dont. Enough said!

    Yeah, it's ridiculous that coaches still do that out of habit, when the actual stats suggest it has no affect or even is beneficial to the kicker.

    Except that isn't a fact. They showed the stat during the Jets game. Percent of makes go up after opposing team calls timeout.

    Exactly. Those are the numbers that I'm aware of as well, though it might be hard to find a link.

    Edit: While looking for links I found that some studies say it works and some say it doesn't. Hard to know for sure.
