Not really as dumb as voters who think you can increase tax revenue by decreasing taxes, or climate change isn't real, or evolution is incorrect.
Citizenship gives you a voice... not intelligence, not education, not any personal trait of the individual... no American should be barred from participation... our role and goal is to ease the process to include in the least participatory, the least willing... all have a voice... you don't have to earn it... imagine the devastation to our national balance if we did institute a literacy test, or patriotism clause, or a basic knowledge of policy test?

You know i understand and agree with you. My frustration is that these are supposed to be the bright young minds engaging in political commerce, and the simple fact that a
debate is a live spontaneous event eludes them. Teleprompters at a debate? I bet these same people would vote for screen doors on submarines or seduced into buying a football bat.
