The difference between Matt Moore and David Garrard

When Matt Moore finds out Ryan Tannehill will start, despite the fact he knows damn well he has outperformed Tannehill, Matt Moore is obviously pissed off. The guy is a competitor. He is supposed to be pissed. He did take it like a professional despite being pissed. I dont necessarially disagree with starting Tannehill either. I wouldve started Tannehill too.

But, you can just tell Matt Moore is salivating at the chance to get back in there yet AGAIN and prove to even more doubters that he can play in this league. The guy gets kicked around everywhere he goes despite the fact he always plays well when he gets a chance. And even though he is pissed, he is taking the attitude that when my number is called, I will be ready. He is going to work his ass off to make sure he is ready when he gets a shot. The guy just keeps picking himself up off the turf. You have to respect that guy. He's a ****ing soldier.

Then we have David Garrard. Unlike Moore's reaction, which we could all tell he was pissed, David Garrard looks in the camera with a **** eating grin and gives that line about "father time". Its like he's happy about it. You know why? CAUSE HE IS! I told you that **** before he got injured what was coming. And yet STILL, people act like this guy should be some kind of consideration for anything. He dosent want to play. He wanted his check and his top notch medical service and rehab for free.

**** DAVID GARRARD! I will punch David Garrard in his ****ing face.(Im exaggerating of course). Seriously though, David Garrard represents everything that is wrong in this country. He is a terrible human being.

David Garrard.... Bad for the Miami Dolphins. Bad for America.

Tannehill has been the better QB in both games thus far. It's really no surprise he's starting

So we're comparing locker room tidbits of injury reactions to depth chart reactions to project professionalism?

    When has Moore "outperformed" Tannenhill?

And your hatred for Garrard to this degree is unwarranted. He's a laid back person. Most laid back people tend to have that type of persona...

Moore is the one whose showing off for the camera. He's trying at every instance to make the camara's focus on him.

All respect to Moore. A great guy and a real competitor who is always looked over.

After what he did for us last year, it seems unfair that he isn't the starter. That being said, Tannehill should start, and I'm glad we have possibly the best backup in the league.

Couldn't agree more. The perpetual chip that stays on Matt Moore's shoulder is there for good reason, and it's why he's valuable. You have to understand, this is a kid who's had to bust his ass, scratch, claw, and fight from day 1 to get where he's at. You don't get anything handed to you as a UDFA like he was. He's had to earn his keep. Only to see that every where he goes that team makes a committment to whatever hotshot rookie they drafted.

He's seen ineffective 2nd round bums like Chad Henne and John Beck get opportunity after opportunity based on nothing more than the ability to turn the football over. He sees disasters like Kevin Kolb who can't even win a starting job, get outrageous contracts. He sees guys like Tarvaris Jackson get opportunity after opportunity and piss them away because they can't play.

Matt Moore was a disaster himself in 2010 and he hasn't done a god damn thing all summer.

and neither can matt moore. he should have been clear and away better than a rookie qb who everyone called a "project" and he wasn't. his fault and nobody elses. he's inconsistent and inaccurate. his jock riders point to last season and his 6-6 record....well they only count games when we started winning so they all proclaim him to be 6-3....but he didn't do much in those win either. our defense dominated a couple cup cakes and our running game destroyed teams like the raiders. when we played good teams, he looked like ass. he's nothing more than a back up or a stop gap starter. we cut him today and he MIGHT start for what? one other NFL team? maybe two? good riddance.

He deserves an opportunity to prove himself based on how he played last year. This summer is irrelevant. Plenty of store shelves are going to be stocked soon by training camp Rambos.. unless Ireland beats 'em to the punch.
