Look guys I know this post may be a bit controversial , but I hope the Peyton Manning move to Denver is an ultimate fail.
I feel Elway screwed Tebow when he promised him a starting job, and I am so glad the Patriots are kicking their a--s.
I will never ever respect Manning or Elway again and Manning for dumping on the Dolphins.

It was both a good and bad move for Denver. It was a bad move because quite frankly, I don't think their overall team is good enough to win a championship (their defense was lousy down the stretch and is terrible against the run), and they paid Peyton an absurd amount of money despite the fact that he's clearly not the same player he was before those four neck surgeries.
But there was only one QB they could bring in who would allow them to end the Tim Tebow era, and it was Peyton. So from that standpoint, Denver probably came out ahead.

sour grapes...Peyton is one of the all time greats. Maybe he didn't go about it the right way, but wouldn't you have chosen Denver over Miami also (at the time)?

Also Manning is about to lose to NE.... so what. He lost to HOUSTON last week....so what? Who dosent lose to Houston?

I mean, get real dude. You act like they blow because they are about to be 2-3 with 3 losses to high quality teams. They did beat Pittsburgh. Denver obviously dosent blow. Manning is obviously far superior to Tim ****ing Tebow.

It was a great move for them because he's going to provide a nice bridge for Osweiler for a few seasons. Plus, he sells tickets/jerseys/etc. for the team.
Denver's just an irrelevant, middling franchise, a slightly more successful one than we've been for the past decade and a half.

I have massive respect for Manning and I wouldnt have signed for Miami in his position either. However Denver dont have the talent to win the Super Bowl in his time window either. He should have went to the 49'ers

Try living here in Colorado and having to listen to the coverage of P. Manning 24/7 on every station. They start the news on Sundays nights by showing the Bronco's games and how they did. There could be a nuclear attack underway, but the Broncos would still come first here. It's sickening. I just got tired of them showing Elway's donkey teeth and grin and how they were practically proclaiming they were the Superbowl favorites because they acquired Manning. The bottom line is Peyton cannot win games by himself, and their defense, and game is suspect.
