Carroll was solid today. He's never gonna be a playmaker or great at playing the ball in the air, but he showed today that he can at least be good in coverage.

Caroll did good. He was nothing spectacular, but he took care of his own. If he wants to be recognized and take things to the next level, he needs to make plays, like that INT he almost had when he anticipated the throw.

If DALTON had been accurate w/that pass, we would've seen one of the eaasiest "Pick-6"es in a long time. CARROLL may be "arriving"; ditto, WILSON. SMITH and JONES, i/m/o, already have...especially SMITH. What were AJ's numbers today? Does anyone know? He seemed to have no "impact" today, whatever his "stats" were. That means that SMITH shut down FITZGERALD and A J GREEN in successive weeks.
