The media bashed this team during the offseason so much. For example:
-Marvez laughing at the team on WQAM every week and listing them as #32 in his power rankings.
-Cole bashing the team every chance he gets.
-Crowder ripping the team(mostly Ireland because he got cut by him)
-Schien calling the team a circus, the worst run team in sports and giving our draft a grade of a F.
-Florio after the Texans loss saying the franchise is so bad that the only thing to do to try and improve it is to fire everyone including Philbin and throwing mega money at Bill Cowher.
-Wyche saying the team is a "dumpster fire" and that they probably be picking #1 in 2013.
-Biggane questioning Philbin's character and calling him a flat out liar.
-Gannon said he was losing faith in Philbin after they signed Chad Johnson in June.
-Sapp laughing at the team and saying the team won't be able to score on offense.
-Dameshek on NFL.com said this about the Dolphins: "That team's going to stink worse than the Dumpster behind a South Beach seafood restaurant in July."
Those are just a few of the anti-Dolphins crowd's comments and views during the offseason. Let's not forget the fans protesting and banners flying over the stadium in January. The team was called desperate by draft gurus in the media for drafting Tannehill in the first round.
Sorry if I don't feel any respect now for these same people who bashed the team for 9 months that now all of a sudden are singing praise for the team. I like seeing good things said about the team, but I am not going to give any credit or gain any respect for bozo's like Marvez and Schien now that they suddenly are saying positive things. They shouldn't be allowed to get off the hook so easy.
