    Question Gaffney starting?

Hey my Fin brethern....I was wondering if anyone has heard if Gaffney will be starting this weekend. I have read that he is working with the 1's but havent heard about how hes doing or if he will be starting....or even on the field. Would be great to see Gaffney @1, Hartline @2, and Bess @3. GO FINZ!!!!

he should come in in 3 WR packages, and move Bess to the slot...don't think he should start in 2 WR packages quite yet though

Keep Ireland, fans don't show up for games anyway, so why listen to them

That and know the Offense, routes, hot reads etc....there's a lot for him to do. I see him being a spot plays this week and having an expanded role following the bye week

I think Gaffney's role will noticeable expand after the bye week. Until then, he will be eased into the game. In fact, we may not have a Gaffney sighting until the bye week has passed. He has to learn the O and RT has to get comfortable with him.

If he is not ready yet, I would put him in as a decoy to free up someone else. Otherwise, I am still holding out hope that Armstrong will start to contribute. I don't understand how he could have been so productive in Washington and then be absent here?

He was productive in Washington 2 years ago. I think DB's figured him out and he is terrible against press coverage (This is coming from a DB)

So far every 3/4 WR we've used has been little more than a decoy. It sounds like Gaffney will get a good amount of snaps. Not sure he knows the playbook well enough to move Bess back to the slot on a regular basis. At this point 2 or 3 receptions by Gaffney would be a great start.

Which would sadly make him twice or three times as productive as Naanee was.
