    Draft Johnthan Banks

What is the word on All-American CB Johnthan Banks from Miss State?? Is he someone we should consider with our 1st rounder?? Itd be nice to pair Sean Smith with a dependable corner on the other side again...

I think its feasible that we could take this kid in the 1st round and go WR, TE with our 2 picks in the 2nd Rd...yes? no?

To be honest I want Miami to nab the best playmakers & receiving threats for Tannehill as soon as possible.. don't delay .. look at what Atlanta did, soon after Matt Ryan showed ability they traded a 2nd for the best TE who ever lived. If you don't think this helped Ryan's development then I don't know what to tell you... and there are many other examples.

Grab Keenan Allen if you can in the 1st.. then grab a serious TE with some serious talent ( a great TE with length, speed, moves, and great hands is a QB's best friend) by moving up to the back of the 1st round for Tyler Eifert before the Falcons nab him for Matt Ryan. The rest of the picks can go to the defense. Add these two guys with Tannehill and the current players we have, along with Joe Philbin and his offensive philosophy and mind set, and this defense won't need to be shutting teams down.. the Dolphins will be scoring a lot and grabbing leads .. and this makes opposing offenses one-dimensional and a lot easier for the defense to handle once this happens on a consistent basis.

    Round one:

+ move up into the late 1st round and grab

Let Tannehill grow with these great talents. Imagine how awesome it would be if we didn't have to worry about the QB, the #1 WR, and the #1 TE positions for the next 10 years !!

Do it ! The dolphins have the ammunition now so no excuses.

It's time the Dolphins caught up with the best and acclimated themselves to what wins today.

just was watching this video on here and at the same time Eifert makes a great play in endzone vs. Stanford with two guys on him. Big guy and spreads out wide.

    Re: Johnthan Banks

Id like a first round CB. paired with our run D it could make Tannys life easier.

I think Banks is one of the most underrated players right now at least in terms of where mock drafts have him going. Definitely someone to strongly consider. So much will obviously depend on what happens in free agency. If the Dolphins can solve, or partially solve, the wide receiver issue prior to the draft then Banks or a pass rusher in round 1 makes sense.

I actually like this scenario quite a bit. Allen and Eifert would help take the offense to another level, one we haven't seen around here for some time. The down side is potentially missing on a top pass rusher. What pass rushers do you see making it to the middle of round 2?
