Hurricane Sandy!!!

To my fellow finheaveners, are any of you guys going to be in the path of this storm. from reading and listening to the weather, all indications are the set up of this storm is like a 1 in 100 years occurrence.

i know we have many dolphin fans who live up and down the east coast, and this is the type of storm that has the potential to knock out power for days or weeks, lots of flooding, etc.

just curious how many of u guys r in the path. for me, living on long island, there is a good chance we r going to the the brunt of it, 70-90 mph sustained winds, 6-12 inches of rain, stuff that just does not happen normally especially up in the tri state area.

i just hope i dont lose power because i cant miss the dolphins. luckily it should hold off until late monday the brunt of it so the dolphin game should be fine.

It won't hit here until late Monday/early Tuesday, so we should be good regarding the game. The game doesn't matter in the long run. Just take basic precautions and don't buy into the media hype too much and you should be good.

ya for sure, i mean i deff think this will be very interesting. Irene was a bust last year, and if what they are saying comes true with the winds they are predicting, that can cause some real damage. im not even worried about the rain, the wind is what knocks the power out, etc.

8am Wednesday it will be over NY where I live but that isn't the kicker, we have another system moving from the west and it could amount to a Nor'easter/hurricane of epic proportions.

By the way, I'll be drinking beer through it because that's what Rednecks do in the face of death. We drink beer and try stupid **** like driving trucks around to see who died. Of course we bring chainsaws and comealongs in case we have to save our Redneck brethren but none the less if I'm not here by late next week...........I died drunk in the storm of the century.
