Now... who will write and direct?? I'd be in favor of Spielberg or Peter Jackson directing. But who to write??? That's a tough one.

Not sure, but I just read that Disney is planning a new trilogy, so it will be episode 7, 8 and 9.

Geez. That's pretty ambitious. I hope they are better than the prequels. This can be very good OR very bad.

Im really into star wars and the expanded universe and I think this is amazing. The lore is so much more than 6 films and so much great content could be developed. Just imagine a Revan film :o or Thrawn!

Be afraid, Brady. Be very afraid!

I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

As stated before, I would hope they're better than the prequels, but that bar is set pretty low.

    Re: Star Wars Episode VII....

The worst thing to happen to Star Wars was Lucas himself when he decided to make the prequels. The best written one was Phantom Menace and the other two seem to have been cooked up during trips to the toilet.

I honestly think Disney buying Lucas Films will help the next set of movies. If they cover any story line I really hope it is the original Grand Admiral Thrawn trilogy. Which by the way, that trilogy was very first story approved by Lucas to carry on the Star Wars Universe.

Forgive my spelling. This was sent from my phone.

I'm an employee of The Mouse, and I can say we all crapped our pants when we got the e-mail from Bob Iger announcing this acquisition. I personally don't like that they have a release date for the film without a script, crew,cast...nothing. Most big studios do this now, a majority of the time the movie is crap. Hopefully they hire the right people.
