This stat is kinda misleading bc the Rams rushed for way more than 100 yards on us, it just happened to be split between 2 RBs. This stat is still amazing but we def gave up alot of rushing yards 2 weeks ago

It's not misleading at all. It's not team rushing yards, its PER player

Exactly. The whole premise of holding the opposing running back to under 100 yards is the ability to take away a teams 1st option.
Make them beat you with another player. And in the Rams game we didn't let Steven Jackson beat us.

We should be able to easily keep Donald Brown well under 100 yards. Hopefully he doesnt break any long runs.

Yeah, don't think Brown will do it.

It could be CJ2K to break the streak.

He has 2 career games vs the Dolphins and he has rushed for over 100 yards in each.

The only thing with him is we have to contain him to the inside. With him its either break a homerun run from the outside or nothing. If we can set the edge, he wont get his 100 yards.

Like I said earlier in the thread I would go with Lynch. He is a pounder and Pete Carrol won't abondon the run game

Seeing as we rattled off 10 losses in a row during this record breaking streak it would seem to be a pointless stat.

It's a pretty misleading record. A lot of teams are breaking their franchises records in this category in recent years due to the prevalence of the multiple back system. As much as I like our dline now, that Zach led run D of ours was on another level.
